Together we are stronger! Supporting the Baby Loss Retreat

Proudly Supporting the Local Community

Happy Friday everyone!

We have some exciting news we would love to share with you all!

As all of our team members are huge advocates of the local community, we are more than excited to announce that we had the lovely opportunity to make a contribution towards a local charitable cause last week.

It was an absolute pleasure for our

VG Homes Team to meet up with the lovely founders Julie & Bryan Morrison from Baby Loss Retreat.

Baby Loss Retreat is a local #Lanarkshire charity organisation, which aims to relieve the emotional and psychological pain of parents who have suffered an early bereavement following a stillborn, miscarriage or neonatal death by providing support to all families to cope with the grief of the loss through this difficult time in losing a baby by counselling sessions, trauma therapy, support groups and visits to their tranquil peaceful retreat for vital breaks.

We are delighted to announce that we became official sponsors for their fundraising coast-to-coast Still Walk Campaign, which will take place in the beginning of July to raise awareness for Stillborn and Baby Loss.

The founders Julie & Bryan Morrison will walk the John Muir Way, which is 134 miles from West coast Helensburgh to East coast Dunbar and they will finish the walk on the 9th July.

They aim to raise awareness for #Stillborn and Baby Loss, which is a topic many families are coping with unfortunately and to make them aware that they are not alone during this difficult time and they can find the support they needed. We had the chance to sponsor them with hiking equipment for their coast-to-coast walk and we are ever so proud to be able to help their meaningful cause.

They have a fundraiser going, looking to raise funds to continue with their initiative and continue helping all parents through this difficult time.
