help them secure their dream home!
Have you all heard the exciting news?
The Scottish Government’s First Home Fund scheme has seen
investment from the Scottish Government of £200 million. It was tested and assessed in the period December 2019 - October 2020 and amid the pandemic restrictions, it showed huge success by assisting more than 8000 first-time buyers with the purchase of their first home.
Therefore, from tomorrow, 1 st of April, the scheme will be reintroduced and first-time buyers in Scotland will once again be able to get help getting on the property ladder and secure a home of their own with only 5% deposit for purchases completed in the financial year 2021-22.
In other words, up to £25,000 is available to all first-time buyers – or up to 49% of the property value – whichever figure is lower towards the purchase of both new build and existing properties.
If this opportunity sounds appealing to you (and we bet it does), you can find out more information about the eligibility criteria and the application process on the Scottish Government’s website( First Home Fund Scotland 2021 ) and we
would advise and encourage all first-time buyers to not miss out this chance, start your research straight away and take advantage of this great opportunity to get financial support towards your first home purchase!
In these unprecedented times, we believe The First Home Fund will act as a lifeline for first time buyers in Scotland, helping to find a more affordable way to secure a dream home.
